V, I will be looking at shorting opportunities around March or April but not in technology. I don't think the 2000 April pattern will hold unless techs make a huge move up by April--which is still possible.

Defensive, overvalued stocks if money keeps flowing into them would be my targets with an easing FED policy.

Expecting a steady move up in tech that should go right into 2002 as year/year comparisons next fall/winter will get easier.

BTW--Still feel communications is the industry for growth going forward, whether it is optical or wireless technology.

A lot can change however.
