The eclipse coupled with the winter solstice and a few other things suggests a market turn of "Modest Proportions" is about due now...!

Let me immodestly suggest that Popocatapetl is the key here, for the South of the Border crowd. Blow that cinder cone and it's Judgement Day Inproportionality for the Bolsa. Ole! Just like the sun and the moon, I'm pulling for a December 25 blowoff.

Feliz Navidad, Ray

A lot of homework? Not with a long term chart and a calculator...<g>

BTW, we can also include the fact that the markets will be closed on Monday, that generates a time gap; a nice opportunity for a turning point... and one other factor here, today is the last day of Autumn which means the winter solstice is tonight... a change of season is an influencing force for a change of market direction... so there are several factors coming together at reasonably close time proximity to increase the probability for a market turn in this time vicinity.....

An internal support point can be reliable if it's a major one, just like the standard support lines we all know about... there internal support/resistance points are reliable enough to trade when prices touch them... we'll see if this one holds... this one is a five year support point.....
