Its in a press release on Nokia's web site. It doesn't sound official, i.e. contract signed, but seems to be a MOU or something.

Nokia was selected as one of the suppliers of handsets for Docomo's network....but this was at least six months ago. Since then, Docomo decided to concentrate on W-CDMA only handsets while Nokia has pursued dual mode (W-CDMA/GSM) handsets. Docomo needs handsets for its May '01 roll-out while Nokia is concentrating on the eventual European market. According to Nokia, W-CDMA/GSM handsets will be available during the first quarter (or so) of '02.
