Funny that....

But you guys have to understand that I studied international affairs and security policy in college. I absolutely dreaded going to one of my public policy courses because it was taught by a University of Chicago economic wonk who phrased everything in terms of public and private failure.

But my main educational inspiration was a Libyan professor who taught my American Foreign Policy courses (ain't it ironic?).. He's the one who opened my eyes to FT, the Economist, and many other sources of economic information, all of which eventually find their way into foreign policy..

And he absolutely hated European socialist policies and their semi-statist views on economics.

So he's the villain... :0)
