Well, I ought to have been short QQQ, but after studying the Dow I decided it might be in for a 40% fall over the next year. QQQ will probably do that as well, but I will settle for less volatility. That is, I think the NASDAQ could get below 1500 but I'd rather not sweat out the intermediate rallies.

Actually I am heavily short many of the QQQ stocks by virtue of holding around $75,000 of BEARX, which is largely in shorts.

But, yes, what happened yesterday does make one want to have been short QQQ.

Am happy to be long every kind of natural gas play (except futures).
