A letter to John Hinkley from Algore Dear John, Tipper and I are so glad to hear you are doing well. I understand that you are allowed out to visit your family on weekends now. We hear that you are well on your way to a recovery after your attempted assassination of Ronald Reagan. As you may know Tipper has been quite active in helping the cause of mental illness.
