nghi vu- You are not alone. As Armstrong stated, the plan to break up was supposed to make the stock go up. Not DOWN. As I read the reports on it, seems that was the only real motivation for having a breakup.

It's very hard for me to believe the synergies between owning the access pipe and the LD network makes no sense. This was Armstong's argument for at least a year during the acquisitions of the cable plants. Did it all just go up in smoke?

Therefore Armstrong/Malone have to be re-thinking this stupid plan as the announcement failed to have the response they wanted. They just need to get the FCC fully on their side instead of fighting/threatening them. -MikeM(From Florida)
