Julius : I noticed a block of LU go over this morning on the 'warning' for last and this qtr. 800,000 shares. You are right . 'This' is not all individual investors.

A small observation on this economy versus the one when Reagan took over the White House; as we look forward to a new administration. Reagan's greatest 'initial ' achievement was in my opinion overhauling the tax code. If you remember there were 15 year real estate depreciation amortization tables then, which were changed to 30 + years . There were new incentives he put in for small businesses, for tech equipment. Money for oil and gas and alternative forms of energy was being tied up in these limited partnerships; he stopped most of that . The point was that he , via his tax plan, redirected assets toward more productive activities and directed decisions away from tax productivity and shelters for income,

I am sure that the last 20 years have caused many other dislocations in our tax code but you hear little about this. GWB wants a 1.3 trill tax cut over 10 years but we hear little about his plan. In this respect , the first Congress and the so called honeymoon period will be much more critical than many believe.........gregor
