Good idea, thanks. That's what I was worried about, the good January. I have to assume that as soon as I sell the JDSU, the SDLI merger gets approved and the fed rate drops a half point sparking a rally.knc

You are absolutely correct. Lots of folks with big capital gains in CSCO and losses in other stocks are selling both CSCO and the losers to use the losses to avoid paying taxes on the CSCO gains. This tax selling is creating a good portion of the selling pressure we're seeing now.
