Puck you were wondering what connection infospace has in Brazil...the connection is thru a canadian company, TIW with interest in several areas of the world that may serve further fruit for infospace in the future

tiw.ca

infospace may also be working on something in Mexico or at least that is what our hero Naveen says

redherring.com

other areas of interest for infospace are also noted in that red herring article....Saraide has some connections in Japan, vodaphone in Australia and of course infospace has big investments in England and has been working on India for quite some time

regarding the suits.....a million shares at current prices only equals 7 million dollars...if you look at previous settlements you will see that many were multimillion dollar deals so I think we the stock holders may be at risk at these stock price levels......one such deal was for 10.5 million

Excerpt page 48 from prospectus

On December 7, 1998, a complaint was filed against us on behalf of an alleged
former employee in Superior Court for Suffolk County in the Commonwealth of
Massachusetts alleging that he was terminated without cause and that he entered
into an agreement with us that entitles him to an option to purchase 4,000,000
shares of our common stock or 10% of our equity. We settled this lawsuit in
February 2000. Under the settlement, we made a cash payment of $10.5 million.
