Yes, that's what I meant by substantially worthless. I don't think the IRS has defined a hard and fast set of rules to define that. The common argument I've heard is that as long as a stock has a bid it is not substantially worthless. Since BOSTQ still has willing buyers, it is not substantially worthless. But there are going to have to be some tax court decisions before we really know.
