Do you have a reference fro the article? Addressing the items you raised:

1) Artesyn (their major competitor) issuing a warning, citing a slowdown mainly at Cisco (a major PWER customer)
Could also be Artesyn is losing market share to PWER, so cannot tell without more info. One thing PWER said about Cisco in last conference call is that they are using the PWER products in their newer products. I would assume these are also Cisco's faster growing products. On the other hand, it could be a forewarning as the market seems to think.

2) Major insider selling...it has been pretty insignificant
Do you mean "significant" or "insignificant" as written.

3) Inventories building up...over twice as fast as sales
Again, if true this could be signaling trouble. However, without seeing the article and knowing the source, an investor is hard pressed to know what's true. This is another instance where the new disclosure rules make it difficult for longs and easy for shorts.

4) an increase in A/R, 144% increase vs a sales increase of 107%
See comments to 3) above.

It appears that one analyst lowered his earnings estimate for this year and next year a couple weeks ago. Zacks shows the consensus estimate dropped from $.80 to $.78 and next year from $1.31 to $1.30. The site I get Zack's from does not show who lowered their estimate, just that one estimate was lowered. Although it is a small change, a small revision in the wrong direction can sometimes lead to more revisions.

On the other hand, see this post with information from the company in November:

My gut feel is this is a great buying opportunity, but the downward revision makes me cautious. I'm holding the shares I own and waiting to see if the other analysts hold firm on their estimates or if they lower estimates also.

If anyone has detailed analyst estimate info and can see the specific analyst and exacty what the revision was or if this analyst has a good track record it would be appreciated.
