From the ashes of the Nasdaq a Phoenix or two may rise up. I am spending some time sifting.

>> Naz down to 2311, can a Naz 2200 be in the offing today? How about a Naz 2057.11 next Wednesday? Remember, you heard it here first. <<

After yesterday's 7% loss, the 7th biggest % loss in Nasdaq history I believe, it makes sense that the markets are bouncing a little. Don't know if it'll hold going into the close. I expected a little more margin selling here, but oh well. As everyone else knows 2500 should provide resistance now vs support before. I could see a scenario where the Nasdaq rallies back to 2500, fails to break or close above it substantially and then start back down to make new lows (over the next couple weeks/days). That would fit the pattern when it broke 4500, 4000, 3500, 3000.

All I know for sure is that the general trend is still down so it doesn't make sense to make play these mini-moves in the techs yet from a risk/reward standpoint.
