PMS -- 1. These companies are multi nationals. Get it ? They have global sales and hiring. The wealth they generate goes to the US. This is the underpinning of the US economy. 2. They are NOT BEING EXPLOITED. I run a division in a multinational and just hired a chinese kid out of college for $100K a year. I have to pay premium to get premium candidates. Do you really think that a computer engineer from Stanford's electrical engineering program doesn't know his market worth just because he is from taiwan ? Sheesh. These immigrants are actually much better negotiators than the nice kids from the mid west. I can actually hire a white american from Iowa for a lot less than a cocky smart kid from Taiwan who graduated from UC Berkeley. 3. You hit a sore spot because you are not smart. I want my business and my investments to flourish. I don't want idiots to snatch away my hard earned money. One of my ancestors came here on the Mayflower - really -- so I don't need to prove how much my ancestors have contributed. I really think that is irrelevant. Why should I get a break because my ancestor many times removed happened to have taken a ship from england at the right time ?
