"Slade" (Tom Sr.) Gorton is straight as far as I know, and of course a Republican. His son, Tom Jr. is gay, which was demonstrated definitively on the date I had with him! Don´t know if he is a Republican.

As for me, I am usually a Democrat, but this election I voted for Slade and Bushie as well. Mainly because the Clinton administration screwed up big time when it comes to energy policy and EPA policy--they deregulated the energy industry on pricing while INCREASING regulation related to the environment (building new plants). Why isn´t anyone paying attention to the skyrocketing natural gas bills, and the situation in California? Gore kinda lucked out, in my opinion, by losing the election as this California energy thing started unfolding.
