I seem to recall that after immediately after Ericsson's last CEO was hired, a high ranking executive who was passed over left Ericsson to run Brightpoint. I don't know if he is still with them.

Slacker, I was thinking about the U.S. mobile handset manufacturing industry and the only company still in the business I could come up with is Motorola. I've read that there are around fifty mobile handset manufacturers worldwide. Do you know if there are any other U.S. manufacturers than Motorola, and, if so, how they are doing?
