The scary thing is that we are falling off the cliff faster than I thought just a few days ago.

I'm not worried about what I want to do but AG had better worry about what he has to.

My guess now is a cut in the first 15 days of next month.

Things are just slowing down too fast to read accurately.

If Greenspan understands the dynamics of control systems he will not waste any more time in enacting a large rate cut to head off severe recession. Believing in Greenspan's astuteness I expect a surprise cut of 50 basis points by year end.

Clinton blames Bush's remarks for roiling the markets and the economy, according to KPBS radio. Cheney answered that Bush's views on slowing economy are same as recently aired by Al Greenspan.
