Paul-re: tempo pause + forecast...

Thanks ;-). Share your view.

I'll be satisfied with a double 3 years from now.

Undue trashing going on. Margin pressure perhaps.

Good luck, Paul.

I agree on the short term nature of the problem. Here are a few points:

1) Interest rates are what are killing people like T. The banks have slammed the lid on lending until the FED cuts rates. Once the FED gets out of the business of choking the market (within a month), the picture changes. Everybody knows this.

2) The end of year rally was killed by a hawkish November FED statement "we might raise rates, not lower, rates" and the fact that we could not elect a president. It was not settled until mid december.

3) Usually, November is a great market month and it runs into early December. Then everybody cleans out their portfolio, takes their losses and plans for next year. After that (last week of December) buying starts coming back into the market.

NASDAQ futures are up. BRCM up 3 after hours.

Nobody wants to buy at the bottom because it feels too bad.

Nobody wants to sell at the top because it feels too good.

It's time to buy.
