Gina

Any thoughts why Sempra (SRE) seems immune. Can they charge more? Brother lives in San Diego and said his power bill doubled last summer. Just curious. TIA

OT: I am confident that the California economy is going to do a "crash and burn" next year, and the Fed can't stop it. They are only now recognizing problems as these problems pass the critical point. I would be gleeful (I'm a spiteful SOB!) but they comprise 10% of the entire US economy. Folks should tread very carefully in the market.

Right now CA is living off of the electricity and NG of their neighbors. What happens when those neighbors themselves cannot get enough?

Gina, thanks for the link to the Edison CEO's article.
His explanation rings true. Reminds me of the US' overdependance on OPEC.
