These figures match up pretty well with expectations. And this is fine for AMD, since the new generation is due out at any moment. Looks bad for the P4, however...

It's also interesting to see that the FAB30 copper process is much better than initially expected. While the old alluminium process runs pretty much out of steam at 1 GHz (theoretical the Durons should be better overclockable because of the smaller die) the copper Athlons achieve a 30% clock-speed advantage. That's pretty significant IMO. Without Dresden AMD would face serious problems to fulfill 1 GHz demand.
