Yeah, I see it. I was going to comment on it earlier but it was too early in it's formation and volume doesn't look just right but it could still be valid. Points to about 51.5 on the QQQ which is where I am watching it.

Well ... the warnings tonight are a little better ... so far ... LOL

Lamson & Sessions (LMS) 11 unch: Company warns for Q4; sees EPS of $0.17-0.20; current EPS estimate is $0.20; cites lower sales order rate reflecting a significant slowing in the economy; inventory adjustments implemented by major electrical distributors and key customers; and operating inefficiencies.

Telaxis Comm (TLXS) 1 1/16 -3/16: Company warns for Q4; sees revenues below estimate; current EPS estimate is ($0.31); revenue will be in the range of $1.4 to $1.8 mln. Company cites fewer product shipments to Alcatel (ALA).

Weirton Steel (WS) 1.25 +0.09: Company warns for Q4; sees loss of $1.25-1.35 per share; current EPS estimate is ($0.50). Company cites weak market conditions combined with higher natural gas prices and planned production outages.

Midas (MDS) 13 13/16 +1/16: Company warns for Q4; sees EPS about $0.22; current EPS estimate is $0.22. The company will implement a non-recurring program to reduce ongoing employee-related operating expenses and will substantially increase its allowance for bad debts.

Ford Motor (F) 24 3/16 +2 1/16: Company warns that Q4 earnings will be reduced by about $0.10 per share from the present First Call consensus analyst estimate of $0.74 a share. Company lowers Q1 North American production plans 9% from prior views, and 17% below last year's Q1.

OmniVision (OVTI) 9 1/2 -7/16: Company warns for Q3; sees EPS of $0.02-0.05; current EPS estimate is $0.09; revenues are expected to be approximately $7.0 to $9.0 mln.

Ruddick Corp (RDK) 11 3/16 +1/16: Company warns for Q1; sees EPS of about $0.25; current EPS estimate is $0.29.

Viant Corp (VIAN) 3 7/16 -3/32: Company warns for Q4; sees loss of $0.06-0.08 per share; current EPS estimate is ($0.04); revenue for the quarter will be in the range of $27 to $28 mln.

Harmonic (HLIT) 6 13/16 -17/32: Company warns for Q4; sees loss of $0.20-0.30; current EPS estimate is ($0.10); sees revenue of approximately $50 to $55 mln. Company says: in addition to the previously announced hold on shipments to AT&T Broadband, certain other customers have delayed anticipated orders or given the Company instructions to make no further shipments for the balance of the year.

Cognos Inc (COGN) 27 1/16 -1 11/16: Reports Q3 earnings of $0.18 a share, $0.02 better than the First Call consensus of $0.16, vs year-ago earnings of $0.16; revenues rose 27.5% to $124.64 mln from a year-ago of $97.75 mln.

Avocent (AVCT) 23 1/2 -1/2: Company warns for Q4; sees EPS of $0.34-0.36; current EPS estimate is $0.39; sees revenues ranging between $78 to $81 million.
