Oh sure. Cats are excellent fish, though I haven't had them with scotch. Ish once posted a very good recipe for blackened cat that is really quite good.

I think one should be willing to once try, of course within reason, anything reputed to be good. In Korea they sell this condiment consisting of little crabs, little fiddler crabs that is simply remarkable! One would think it would be horrible, but it is wonderful.
