Indeed I have eaten it. I've had raccoon, bat, frog, gator, dog, snake, lion, elephant, whale (raw and cooked), rhino, octopus and a few other odds and ends (grin). I had the possum, as I said, when scouting down south for land I thought I'd buy. I went fishing, met this guy, we talked and before I knew it, was sitting at his table eating possum. It wasn't road kill. This guy trapped it in a steel trap using fish heads (which is how we got to talking about the possum). Pretty interesting, really. It was a long while ago, but I don't remember it tasting awful. In fact I think it was good. I can't remember how it was cooked, though.

I'll try anything once, as long as the people with whom I take company will eat it. There are very many "snacks" I haven't tried. I got into an argument here (I think) with someone because I expressed an interest in trying monkey. I don't make it a habit to eat weird things, but when I'm around folks I try to act as they do, and enjoy their lives from their perspectives.

Hehe.
