Xtahce: Yes, the last day for tax selling would possibly be a good entry point. I've thought much of the current selling this late in the year is tax-loss selling. I'm sure it is a big factor. However, because there is so much else going on that it is very easy to get tangled up in our 'logic' and lose sight of the psychological reality of this market, whatever that is. I wouldn't ignore the possibility the end of tax-loss selling as a buying point. But if it is a good entry point I would think TA would be confirming it.

I guess instead of trying to guess what the market wants to do, it's probably best to relax (if possible) and let the market speak to us.
