I'm looking for at least a short term rally, it may
get sold into damm if I know. I hear some brokerage
houses are planing to cut back on their help come
Jan. ?
I also got back long the QQQ on her dip about 3:45 today. But I'm still just short term trading, I don't
know that we are going lower but don't have faith that
any rally will last long.
It could take time for this market to repair the
damage after all she has not just gone down a lot
most other dips in the past were not so drawn out,
I feel it cuts into the derivative markets
even if a market is flat if it's flat for too long.
------
What I think I'm trying to say is like index funds,
they always maintain a balance of stocks and futures
so they can rebalance and handel redemption.
The longer a market goes without gains the more the
futures part cost.
-------
Or am I trying to say "time value is lost" in addition
to the actual Amount the market is down we need to
figure in a time factor at interest rates.
A part of the market is always owned on credit even when
mutual funds and investors don't have any margin,
they have to say well I lost this much and I also lost
what I would have gained in bonds.
They don't have to say that but after a year of going
no where they might start to say it.
Jim
PS
Bush is pushing for his TAX cuts so hard him and his
team are using scare tactics to get em through and
putting out negative market out looks;
It's starting to work, in as much as he is scaring
a lot of people. His scare tactics could become the straw
that breaks the markets back, if so his Tax cuts
become a joke.
