Well Philip, I thank you for your concern and your advice. The cyclical nature of the industry had not escaped me. But I'm afraid that I do have to differ with your view that the sector is not suitable for investment. "Investment" does not mean "forever," as you seem to imply. And while the issue of timing is of rather obvious importance to this or any other cyclical industry, one does not have to be a speculator to take advantage of it. Your perspective as a trader using TA is well known by readers of this thread. I for one value your participation precisely because your perpective is different from my own. But we should perhaps avoid such immoderate sweeping judgements, espescially when these are based on an investment style on which reasonable people might disagree. AD
