COMPX End of Day Chart...the 1990 Rising Trading Channel first introduced on this thread in early 99 once again exerts its influence on price action...

My End of Day – COMPX (NASDAQ Composite) Daily Semi-log Chart
I am keeping the gap down on 12/19-20 in mind, as it may well have been an exhaustion gap to this leg of the decline. One of my cycle studies signaled a major pivot point due on 12/19 (+/- a few days). A full circle note is that the NAZ low today was only about 50 points above the support band of the 1990 Rising Trading Channel. I think the NAZ is near a relief rally that should be contained within the 1990 RTC. The relief rally should be followed by another significant decline. Not a given, but I suspect the 1974 Rising Trading Channel will come into play next year. (The 1974 RTC was also introduced on this thread in early 99...<g>)
