"My Micron DDR system works great. Best Buy sold them out in about three days. The salesman said it was their best computer, and did not even show me any P4s."

I know it might be a surprise (if true) but there are many millions of computers out there that work great without their owners feeling the need to comment on the fact they work several times in a week. But I spose the AMDroids may find it to be something worthy of celebration.

By the way, if you had looked back, you might have seen that salesman laughing <vbg>.

Scumbria,

What do you think the "Ram" in Rambus stands for?

It stands for "Really fAst chip-to-chip coMmunications".

I thought you knew that.

and did not even show me any P4s.

We had this discussion months ago and decided that the P4 was not going to be the product of choice to push on the holiday crowds. Which has been verified by virtue of the fact that the dorky commercials with the painted people that they (Intel) are running are for the P3.

So, the question is, did the salesman show you any P3's?
