Peter,

It certainly is starting to appear like Intel is dead in the consumer marketplace.

Peter, It is almost certian that the drop is SP is caused by institutional unloading. For whatever strategic reasons they like to feel they are far lookers and they have read, eaten and taken to heart Intels view of the future...OR...they are just getting into a cash position prior to the great deep decline we are about to enter??

Peter: Forget those bestseller lists. Semis are cyclical stocks. Go and look at Gottfried's BTB charts. This should give you a good idea when to buy and sell semi stocks. At the beginning I was also thinking like you but suffering (and quite substantially) through the last downturn in the 90's I learned my lesson. So, if this is really the beginning of a big Semi downcycle (which could last a year or longer) AMD could easily be cut in half again (even from where we are today) at the bottom at the downcycle.

Good luck....
