Re: "Is time, then, the ultimate ground, ..."
No. It is just one of the "dimensions," the fourth dimension.

Hello Investor 2. The answer to your question on the "ask God" thread re: do children under 2 go to hell...the answer is "NO". Nobody goes to Hell.

When I use the word "ground" in the given context, it refers to the normal philosophical meaning of (Webster's):

b (1) : a fundamental logical condition (2) : a basic metaphysical cause

Of course, it is possible to conceptualize it as a dimension, but it would more properly be called space-time, in that instance. I don't think it is appropriate to call it a dimension--but some do. Time doesn't apear to be a dimensional coordinate to me, but a mathematical abstract that arises from the nature of consciousness. To have more than one thought or idea FORCES the perception of time. The fact that rearranging every atom and wave in the universe to a prior period would erase any perception that some linear passage had occurred, suggests that the conception of time as a line from past to present to future is perhaps false. It is simply the way observation is forced to exist when the observer is not synchronized with the fundamental flow of energy--call it the speed of light for now...
