I dont get this now-I'm-contrite-about-my-gambling-excesses evangelizing. You seem to imply that anyone who saw the writing on the wall and sold to preserve profits before the crash is virtuous, while those who held and lost are sinners. I'm only critical of the people who want to blame Greenspan for their own misfortune. I'm saying that if people aren't mature enough to protect their capital in a speculative market, if they insist on gambling their down payment on stocks that are wildly priced, I refuse to listen to them complain about it and try to deflect the blame from themselves. It's so un-Republican (and tacky!). :-)
