chic, jump in a lake dude, I'm done short this market to death. greenspan made it happen. sure it was out of hand but the market would of taken care of it in due time. He has been playing god, I have always said they should leave it alone and let it evolve ala Darwin. I just called another short term bottom tonight, time for rally..

<<We are due for rally. One of the sighs to look for at both a top and a bottom is high vol days and little movement. At the top when you have a high vol. day where the buyers and sellers are matching each other so the tide is about to change, at a bottom it's the sellers are being match by buyers. Today we had such a day. Also while looking at the following chart stockcharts.com[W,A]DB... lay straight edge along the lows, we are now right at the lower channel of a downtrend, also take a look the stoch we are right at the cross over point. Also, no over night big time warnings, of course that could change in the morning, but of as now it looks to me like the air has been cleaned out. It doesn't take much to realize that after these multiple days of constant selling that the selling would dry up and even the fattest of shorts are thinking covering. I see a rally to the 2700 area.>>

chic...."reality and conspiracies"

for once i agree with you....

the "visionists" believed broadband in every home and two cell phones in every hand.....the share prices in such stocks were priced to levels that heretofore where unknown....

then reality set in, primarily in the cost of infrastructure.....calculations did not include the difficulty of infrastructure in the most populated of urban areas...roll outs were slow, time is money, money eroded.....earning deficiencies are a result of delays in capitilizing on the initial investment....dreams turned to smoke...just look at armstrong and the mighty t....without the ability to deliver an end product to the consumer, the down stream supply chain has nothing to supply, inventories build, prices decrease and an equally vicious downward cycle begins....ultimately these companies will succeed, but will return no where near what the pundits "vision" was....
