I bought all of my shares of amat on November 7 1996
@ 7.00 dollars on a recommendation from Mike Murphy in a magazine I read. That's 7-115-35 !!

Talk about a deer frozen in the headlights... It was my very first stock purchase. Made me think it's normal for stocks to go up 1600% <G>
I Still have not sold a single share. doh....

I even bought some puts at 85 on the way up and sold them for a 90% loss. Taught me not to underestimate the extreme range of valuations given to amat.

I've been buying leaps lately and feeling the pain.
