"this economy is heading towards a tragedy etc." I am a lot older than the smart youngsters on the threads who just don't fathom any real economic troubles. As a youngster, I played hide and seek with other kids in a deserted subdivision of new homes, some finished, some still under construction. The builder just walked off and let the banks have them. No one today thinks it will ever happen again. It took WW2 to get things started again. I hope it doesn't get that bad, but it could. Young couples in nice houses with new furniture and two new suv's in the garage, and all on credit. What if just one of them gets laid off? CPH
