The More shifts to waht ever they are looking
at ; at the time.

The reality of the down turn still
hasn't come home to a lot of middle class mutual fund
holders. I know a bunch who don't pay a lot of attention
to the Dow..or such , they count on the fund managers
to manage. :-)

When they get the end of year statements with the Cap gains TAX on it and see where they are compared to a year
ago taht will get their attention.
( this is the gang that has been trained to buy and hold )
A lot of them are going to look back for two years and find
out they could have done better in CDs, & quite a few of them will find a lot less eggs in their egg nest.
So the question is What's going to happen when
( Mr & Mrs buy and hold get their year end statements ? )
--------------

It's only scary for them looking and trading & that
is such a confluence of things picking the more
is beyond me, but I would wager what ever it is
the "more" for most people is not what it should be.
--------------
As for me I'm worried most about what I don't see ,
and what's not being said.
--------------
State "pension funds" are bound to have huge
losses that they are not about to talk about it
until it's way to late.
The news is all focused on Federal Taxes, yet we
pay more State and City taxes in a million hidden ways,
and they are fixing to go up to make up for the
Pension fund losses.
