Well, the "durable goods" report indicates that the demise of the economy has been prematurely reported, again, and the Fed's surely will have to wait for more indications like rise in unemployment.

Personally, I think that this morning bump will be sold, again...

Fella on CNBC had an interesting contrarian take on the dollar today - in effect that it reacts more to perceptions of US growth than to traditional factors. I believe he called it a "growth currency." He suggested that prompt action by the Fed might actually support the dollar.
