There is more than plenty in science that remains elusive to us...

Physicists have become quite good at measuring time, but they are having difficulty understanding what it is they are measuring...

Agreed, science had become exceptional in quantifying the material realm, but are not equipped to understand any of it, or anything more than that... a good example of this is the Complete Works of Shakespeare... give scientists a copy of that work and they can tell us what kind of paper the ink was printed on, where the paper came from, the age, they can tell us what kind of ink was used and where it came from, they can tell us the kind of binding used for the pages, and so on... but, they cannot tell us anything of its content.....
