Lesson 1:

VRSN is very close to producing a buy signal. Look at the two stochastic lines. When they move below 20 on their scale this means that the stock is becoming oversold and due for a reversal. Im using a conservative stochastic setting of 15-5-5.

In this next chart I move the setting to a more aggressive but less trust worthy 5-3-3. It looks surprisingly consistent in predicting moves up and sown with precision for this particular stock.

An actual buy signal will be when the faster moving black line intersects with and moves above the slower moving green line. This is referred to as a crossover.

The daily candle that formed yesterday is called a spinning top. This means that investors are moving from a bearish mood to a neutral mood with this stock.

Williams which mimics the VIX is showing a bottom is forming or at least the stock is firmly in bottom territory.

If you look closely at Money flow you will see that if has also moved from down or distribution (selling) to flat or neutral.
