That's really not a relevant question because we have no way of avoiding the worst days if we want to be an investor.

No one knows so you take the bad with the good.

p.s. But my guess is the best and worst days would be about equal.

That's a really good question for which I don't have the answer. Of course, trying to selectively be out of the market during the 30 worst days is as futile as trying to be selectively in it during the 30 best days.
