Dan:
Intel has a business model that is based upon $200 ASPs and they are facing a competitor who's business model is based upon $100 ASPs. Intel has to be very, very, very, careful about letting the perceived value of its mid range and high end processors drop.

Excellent detailed analysis. Two quick questions.

- Do you apply your semiconductor pricing analysis for your occupation or strictly for personal investment research.

- Can you predict the future as good as you analyze past Intel performance.

I see the 3 driving factors to a successful P4 rollout.

- Intel paranoia to stay on top of semiconductor heap.

- Samsung being able to make money on RDRAM and only being able to lose on PC133.

- Intel's relentless marketing

Happy holidays
