MWAR is unbelievably priced now. Do you see much possibility of WIND taking this over? At least their staff must be worth something to WIND, if not any of their products.

Actually, I don’t. I doubt that WIND has any use whatsoever for their products, and they may not need a bunch of talented workers in the middle of Iowa somewhere. I have watched incredulously as MWAR has slowly faded away by hanging onto a product strategy rather than shifting entirely to services. With MWAR’s sizeable long-term debt, I doubt anyone wants them at this point.

I may be wrong about MWAR, but I wouldn’t bet on them. You may recall years ago when I put a negative call on MWAR and ISI, and I have never had a reason to change. Although, I have to admit I was watching ISI very closely for signs of life just before WIND acquired the company. Matt Belkin spent a fair amount of time trying to convince me ISI was viable, and there were developments that supported his position.
