If no recession then I better cover my BKX.x shorts. There will be a recession, bet on it. The whole move the last two years was primarily created by Wealth effect. Now we will see negative wealth effect.

how can that many Naz $$'s disappear without changing the way people think about their spending, their money, and that not result in them making changes in what they spend and what they save?

surely you would agree that the "economic growth" is precariously balanced on consumers' willingness to borrow and then consume. Do you see something else coming in to give a spark to economic activity?
