I totally agree with you here. Rumors are that discussion on El Sauzal aborted because FGX was asking for too much. RR told me many times that he was not in a hurry to sell and they would get their price.

FGX knows that there is 3M ounces at El Sauzal. Only 2M is proven by drilling. The remaining is still inferred. I once asked why not drilling further... They said... why spending money on what we know is there.

This is a situation I can live with..knowing that there is very little long term risk in the stock. They are almost living on the interest earned on their $34 millions... so they can go a long time with it.

Marlin can make a big difference and may cause a takeover bid by a major, unlike El Sauzal.
