We all agree that one does not want a recession. So what? They are never desired. They are as necessary a part of our economic system/cycle as booms. As my history prof used to say, "From my point of view, the history of capitalism is the history of depr/recessions." He was a great prof and I think you can see what he was driving at.

One can not help but feel badly for those who will be hurt, but hurting in a recession in the western world is not so bad compared to the lot that the vast majority of humans are stuck with.
