Dang, Just when I thought I was going to read an objective news piece, that tried to shine the light on the lie that is GPRS, they repeat the same idiotic mistake by saying EDGE is the saviour. Please... I'd be surprised if EDGE makes any noticeable impact on the wireless market during the next 10 years, other than providing AWE backside coverage when people ask them why their 2.5G offerings suck so bad... This article/information will probably get deep-sixed along with that NOK comments from a while back stating how everyone was overestimating the already laughable GSM/GPRS data rates (although "always-on" is the real killer...), and the other articles stating that all mobile CDMA benefits QCOM. Anyone ever notice that nobody has written any articles on the fact that 1X, isn't living up to it's speed claims in Korea? Or that IS-95C isn't hitting 64K in real life applications in Japan? Wonder why.... DWB
