Watching the same stuff, Eichler, but, I guess as usual, am more optimistic. Still took profits on half my positions, placed a stop too close on another, but it's all positive so far, and am holding what I have left probably to the close... looks to me like at least one more assault on 2500 could take place... who cares if it's on low volume, getting up over 2500 would be a major shot in the arm. Likewise, failing to get just another 20 measly points out of this beaten-up casino wouldn't be great for morale, even after a triple-digit gain... Still will hold for possible follow-through any trades still above break-even. I mean, even Lucent wouldn't save up a devastating negative announcement for Christmas Eve, would they?

Just seems like one of those days on which stocks that shouldn't go any higher just do... then by Tuesday before the open they still seem undervalued compared to where they've been, in some cases just a few days ago... will be looking to close positions Tues AM, maybe even get short on signs of clear weakness... but may also just trade conservatively, even put in a few long-term (days instead of hours, weeks instead of days) positions... don't know... may depend on whether anyone gets me something nice for Xmas...
