Agree with you that no one in their right mind would consider recommending one of these crap stocks. Believe me I own plenty of them. That said RRC is still a crap stock but was even worse a few months ago at $1.75 now $6. Money can be made in speculative issues such as jimp's SMOP or little EQTY but one must fully understand the risks associated in owning any of these and especially true pennies. You could lose all of your money.

Now onto better things. Went over Mr. Wulff's analysis of EPL closely last night and he has 155 million in cash flow for 2001 projected in his model. Should they hit those numbers EPL may look pretty cheap a year from now. If our tax loss seller doesn't return next week we may have seen the bottom at $10. Wulff has gas at $5.85 I believe average for 2001 which is agressive but the first quarter might help hold the average up. Liking the oiler names in here at present though there has been lots of good news priced into the gassers of late.
