This week's issue of PC Magazine has an article on wireless internet and, quoting, "Basically, 3G is broadband digital data moving at up to 2 Mbps. BUT THIS IS STILL A FEW YEARS AWAY."

So nothing with speeds comparable to Ricochet will be available for a FEW YEARS. And, I assume G3 will go out over existing cellular transmitters/towers which are often overloaded with just voice data.

Will copy the article when it's available.
