, I don't see you and the media complaining about Hillarys 8 million dollar upfront book deal I have been wondering about that. But since she was just the first lady, I am not sure the rules apply to her.

Jim, Isn't that the one that turned Clinton into a Republican? If you think back to 1993, you will remember that the bill passed without a single Republican vote. One of the darkest moments in GOP history. I watched Reagan bring the country close to bankruptcy, and I saw Clinton show the guts to do something about it. George senior and Newt Gingrich also did their part, but Clinton was the guy who restored sanity to the budget process.
