Doc: W. has named Ashcroft as his Attorney General. Here is some background information provided by Bloomberg news quote.bloomberg.com If Ashcroft is confirmed, it seems that both MO and MSFT will have an easier time. A very important thing to remember is that W. will probably get chance to name 2 to 3 Supreme Court Justices in next 4 years. As a lot of people here know, the largest risk in MO is not business but litigation. Having a majority conservative supreme court justices will materially reduce that risk. Any large unfavorable rulings against MO will eventually appeal to US Supreme court
